Do you offer tutoring at local Kelowna libraries?
Absolutely! Our Kelowna tutors often meet students at local libraries, including Kelowna Central Library, Mission Branch Library, Rutland Branch Library, Glenmore Branch Library and Lake Country Library.
How long are the in-person and online lessons?
The online lessons are a minimum of 60 minutes and the in-person lessons are a minimum of 90 minutes.
Do you offer in-person tutoring in West Kelowna?
Yes, we do offer in-person tutoring in West Kelowna.
My child is enrolled at the Okanagan Hockey Academy, and their schedule is quite packed. How flexible are your tutoring sessions in accommodating their practices and games?
The tutoring schedule is flexible. We recommend to confirm a tutor early in the school year to ensure that the tutor’s schedule is open and able to more easily adapt to the student’s busy schedule.
We want in-person lessons but are worried about how it will be impacted by snow and ice during the winter in Kelowna?
Most of the time, lessons are not affected by winter conditions. However, during heavy snowfall, we recommend switching to an online lesson. This is especially important if the student needs assistance with an upcoming test or assignment.
Are your tutors familiar with the courses at the University of British Columbia Okanagan?
Yes! We have many tutors who have a lot of experience tutoring students who are taking courses at UBCO. Some of our tutors have even taught courses at UBCO and have a masters or PhD.
